Breakfast at Casa Frieda, Sibiu

Had breakfast here, in the edge of the old town, not far from Welt Hostel.
The coffee latte was strange served in a glass instead of a cup/mug.

Sibiu by Night

The lummination also makes the city nice by night too.

Crama Sibiana in Sibiu

Had dinner in this small restaurant in the Small Square.
Recommended in Google Map, and Wikitravel (in Wikitravel it is mentioned stellar/underground restaurant, but it was above ground).
I think it is so so, nice, but not really special.

I don't know why I ordered the same, pork stew, the food I had for lunch at the same day (at the Dracula restaurant in Sighisoara).

Welt Hostel at Sibiu

What a waste! is really what I am thinking about this hostel.
Such a nice building and decoration, and such a strategic location (inside the old city) and convenient (the big supermarket just next door), even in front of the building, there is a historical (look like) fountain.
But the management was awful, at least in my opinion.
The staff was not attended.
When I arrived, there was nobody in the reception, the bar staff gave me the room key, where I needed to explain to her she gave me the wrong room, not the type of room I booked. She just said, the staff in charge in the reception was not available since he stayed up late the night before.
Later on, when I returned later at night, I met the staff in charge of reception, a foreign student.
Later on at night, I realized, the staff had a party after the bar/cafe in the ground floor of the hostel and played the music so loud, no wonder he couldn't wake up.

Not only that, the maintenance was really awful.
The shower hands, 3 out of 4 were without their original caps/covers.
The toilet door knobs were broken.
The food remaining on the floor in my room.
The rubbish bucket in the corridor was full.
The toilet paper was out of supply.

I wish I could be the manager of this pretty hostel, and improve the management...

Sibiu

My favourite place during my visit this time in Romania.
The old town was really charming, it is quite large too, compared to Bucharest and Brasov.
With Lover's Bridge and Liar's Passage, it's quite a romantic place.
Especially during sunset time.
Enjoyed that moment.

There is a nice cafe called Wien Cafe.
They have a live band, outdoor in the square near the church, so every passer-by can watch too, and dance in the square.
Wien Cafe is also a nice place to watch the sunset.

Not only pretty, I think the old town is convenient too, with 2 big supermarkets, and the distance from the train station and bus terminal is not that far as Brasov.
I feel like I can live in this city.

One cute thing, the windows on the roof, look like eyes :)
