Peles Castle is the most beautiful castle in Romania.
Inside and outside are indeed pretty.
A few stories I remember from Serban, our guide, about Romanian royal families.
Royal family was imported from Germany, the first king was King Karl Johan I.
He and his wife was a love marriage, not political marriage, which was common in a royal people, so they slept on the same bed, while normally, royal couple slept in separate rooms.
Unfortunately, they had only 1 daughter, which died younger.
The German royal family was very rich, and they brought their fortune to Romania, so most people welcomed them and loved them.
Peles Castle, even though only their summer palace, they spent a lot of money and time to build it. They even constructed railway between Sinaia and Bucharest by their own money.
